The hotel has changed a lot since Queen Victoria's stay in 1860. It has been modernised to provide very comfortable accommodation while keeping the traditional character.

We now have 50 en-suite bedrooms, all with tea and coffee making facilities, toiletries, hair dryer, colour TV and direct dial phone.

There is a choice of Superior and Standard rooms as well as the four poster room.

We have a number of single rooms available at standard rate and double rooms that can be taken for single occupancy at a supplement.

There are disabled rooms on the first floor accessible by lift.
