Traditional Hogmanay Break
We would like to invite you to join us for a Traditional Hogmanay Break with the Bird Watching and Wildlife Club at the Grant Arms Hotel.
You will enjoy a warm and friendly welcome in magnificent Scottish Highland surroundings with the great food and en-suite accommodation of the historic Grant Arms Hotel.
Our break includes three nights’ accommodation with Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner each day, as well as a programme of walks and entertainment.
The BWWC Team will be on hand to suggest wildlife watching sites to visit in the area too. The price for the 2010 Hogmanay Break is £399.00 per person. Additional nights Bed & Breakfast prior to New Year’s Eve and after
Sunday 2nd January are available on request at £30pppn.
SAMPLE ITINERARY:
Friday 31st December
Arrive at leisure from 2.00pm onwards and settle into the Hotel getting to know your surroundings, take a stroll through Grantown-on-Spey or simply relax in the Capercaillie Bar with Afternoon Tea.
Enjoy a Welcome Reception from the BWWC Team before you get dressed up to enjoy the Grant Arms Hogmanay Gala Dinner, served in the Restaurant and including the traditional haggis and whisky offerings.
After Dinner you can celebrate the end of the current year and start of the new by dancing with our Ceilidh Band.
New Year’s Day:
Happy New Year! Enjoy the Grant Arms New Year’s Day Brunch, served from 10.00am until 12.00midday, including ice-chilled Irn Bru, Bloody Mary’s and Sparkling Wine to chase any headaches away.
This afternoon you could join the BWWC Team for a New Year’s walk in Anagach Woods before returning to the Hotel for Afternoon Tea.
A 4-course Dinner will be served in the Restaurant, after which you can retire to the Capercaillie Bar and enjoy the evening’s entertainment or watch a film in the Osprey Suite.
Sunday 2nd January
Enjoy a full Scottish Breakfast in the Restaurant.
Join the BWWC Team for a walk up to Grantown Viewpoint to admire the mountain views. Return to enjoy Lunch in the Restaurant.
Afternoon Tea and board games will be on offer in the Capercaillie Bar, or you could settle down to watch a seasonal film in the Osprey Suite.
After a delicious 3-course Dinner you are welcome to join in with the special BWWC New Year Quiz in the Capercaillie Bar.
Monday 3rd January
Enjoy a full Scottish Breakfast in the Restaurant before your departure.
