Christmas In Wonderland
We would like to invite you to join us for a special Christmas in Wonderland with the Bird Watching and Wildlife Club at the Grant Arms Hotel.
You will enjoy a warm and friendly welcome in magnificent Scottish Highland surroundings with the great food and en-suite accommodation of the historic Grant Arms Hotel.
Our break includes three nights’ accommodation with Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea and Dinner each day, as well as a programme of walks and entertainment. The BWWC Team will be on hand to suggest wildlife watching sites to visit in the area too.
The price for the 2010 Christmas Break is £399.00 per person (with no single supplement). Additional nights Bed & Breakfast prior to Christmas Eve and after Boxing Day are available on request at £30pppn.
SAMPLE ITINERARY:
Friday 24th December
Arrive at leisure from 2.00pm onwards and settle into the Hotel getting to know your surroundings, take a stroll through Grantown-on-Spey or simply relax in the Capercaillie Bar with Afternoon Tea.
Enjoy a Welcome Reception from the BWWC Team, followed by our Christmas Eve 4-course Dinner in the Restaurant.
You could take a stroll around the Christmas lights in The Square and then relax in the Capercaillie Bar or attend a local Watch Night Church Service, returning to mulled wine and mince pies.
Or perhaps you fancy watching a festive film in the Osprey Suite?
Christmas Day
Merry Christmas! Enjoy a full Scottish Breakfast and a glass of Buck’s Fizz in the Restaurant.
After Breakfast, why not take a stroll in Anagach Woods and see if you can spot any of the local wildlife, before returning to our traditional Scottish Christmas Lunch with all the trimmings?
After Christmas Lunch you could try your luck at a few board games in the Capercaillie Bar, watch a seasonal film in the Osprey Suite, or settle down in front of the Queen’s Speech with Afternoon Tea.
Enjoy a Buffet Supper in the Restaurant, after which you can enjoy a drink in the Capercaillie Bar, along with the evening’s entertainment.
Sunday 26th December
Enjoy a full Scottish Breakfast in the Restaurant.
Join the BWWC Team for a walk in Anagach Woods to look for the local wildlife. Return to enjoy a light lunch before heading to Cairngorm Mountain to see the local Reindeer herd*. Afterwards, come in from the cold to enjoy Afternoon Tea.
After a delicious 3-course Dinner in the Restaurant you are welcome to join in with the BWWC Christmas Quiz in the Capercaillie Bar.
Monday 27th December
Enjoy a full Scottish Breakfast in the Restaurant before your departure.
