Welcome to The Grant Arms Hotel

The Wildlife Hotel in the Scottish Highlands

In the fine Scottish country town of Grantown on Spey, not far from the famous Spey River, lies the handsome stone built Grant Arms Hotel, which has been recently refurbished and upgraded to offer modern comforts whilst retaining a traditional character.

This Highland hotel has been welcoming guests for many a year. In fact, Queen Victoria and Prince Albert stayed here in 1860.

The Grant Arms has 50 ensuite bedrooms with meeting and conference facilities.

Experience a holiday in the Scottish Highlands, the perfect combination of mountain scenery, ancient buildings and mysterious lochs.

Visit Aviemore, the Cairngorms mountains, Inverness, Loch Ness, the Moray Firth and Royal Deeside. Follow the trails of castles, gardens and distilleries.

Play golf at the numerous golf courses nearby including Grantown on Spey's 18 hole course.

What our guests say

“The hotel facilities are of a very high standard and our room was very comfortable. The food was excellent…however, what made our stay extra special was the helpful friendliness of the staff. The BWWC is a brilliant concept and advice enabled us to meet two main objectives – seeing Capercaillie and crested tits. We also saw ospreys plunge diving which was fabulous. Could you pass on our thanks and compliments to all our staff. We look forward to a return visit.”
